Crystal Wade is a young mother who, together with her husband, has the heart of a shepherd. Their work with students deepened their desire to discover and implement keys which unlock healing and fullness for families. Then, the trailblazing work of Arthur Burk in ministering to babies in the womb brought into crisp focus for them the importance of blessing and affirming identity earlier in life, rather than later. Like her dad, Crystal values people and recognizes that life is the treasure; time is the gift. Out of this flows her passion for justice for those who cannot speak up for themselves. Arthur Burk is a researcher whose war cry is that there has to be a better way. He is no friend of dysfunctional systems or beliefs. On the surface, you readily see the diversity of his background. He has traveled globally for half a century, is multi-lingual and has allowed the strengths and nuances of many cultures to inform and enrich his world view. He has been a pastor, home schooling parent, businessman, public speaker and writer, all of which served to give him a highly textured view of life. While his experiences in life have given him a broad view of many topics, he is ultimately defined by his high view of God. Whether he is ministering to babies or consulting with businessmen, God is not far off. He sees the principles from the Word as applicable everywhere, and celebrates the power of God flowing from principles. For decades now, people have said that they see life and God differently for having been exposed to Arthur s world view.

Impacting Lives

Crystal Wade & Arthur Burk have captured a part of God's heart for children in this book. We began praying what we call the "joy blessings" over our adopted daughters several months ago. This has truly impacted them. It's a catalyst for additional prayers and they are stronger in their spirits. The book refers to the "child in the womb" often, but it is easy to change your words as you pray for the child that is already born. We are also praying these blessings over our grandchildren. The blessings are not too long and therefore great for children. Bonus...it's an interactive tool in the Kingdom. As parents of wounded children we are always seeking the Lord for insight into ways to love our girls w/His love. This is helping us to build up the spirits of our girls...great discussions come out of them asking questions like, "what is courage?" Highly recommend this book, especially for wounded children.

What an awesome book! Best book I have read lately (and I am a voracious reader)

I certainly wish I had had this book when I was raising my 3 daughters, and even when babysitting my grandchildren.
The authors do a wonderful service to parents by giving them much needed information, and how to speak blessings over their children. I now speak the blessings over my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
This is such an encouragement to me!
